My Nicholas

Yesterday was Nicholas' 24th birthday. I enjoyed Lindsay's blog the other day about why she loves Nick. So I thought I would include memories about Nick that make him a special amazing individual. Nick was a sweet happy baby. He started sleeping all night at 2 weeks. He has a mind like a steal trap. When he was little he would run through a room. Then you would hear him in the other room repeating what he had just heard. During Christmas time we would listen to a Disney Christmas Album. One of Nick's favorite songs had Goofy singing. Nick would run around yelling "bahoo" just like goofy. Nick was a popular little kid. He could make friends in no time at all. After he started kindergarten he had a ton of friends. There were times we would be outside working in the yard and people would pull up to our house and ask if Nick lived here. When we would say yes, a little kid would get out of the car and run up to the door to play with Nick. Nick grew up into an amazing young man. He is so smart and loves Lindsay so much. When I see them together I can see how much he loves her. I miss him not living close by, but I think we have grown closer because of the distance. I enjoy and look forward to talking to him each week.
