I decided to still Paula "Friday Flashbacks" idea and make it my own with Monday Memories. I plan to scan old pictures of my kids a write about some of the cute things they did. That is "plan" which means today, no pictures.
Kristi and Dustin are only 19 months apart. When Dustin was born my mother told me that if I made him Kristi's baby too, that I would not have a big problem with jealousy. So Dustin was Kristi's baby. She called him son. She would hold his bottle, push him in the swing, and try to take care of his every need. I remember when is was just a month old he was in the baby swing. But the swings weren't as nice as they are now. So to put an infant in the swing I had to prop up his baby seat between the back of the seat and the tray. It fit real well, and he would just swing and swing. One afternoon I heard big crunch in the living room. I ran into to find Kristi looking like, "what did I do". The baby seat was upside down on the floor with a little arm sticking out. But no noise from the baby. My first thought was that Dustin was dead. I ran over to the seat and lifted it up. Some how when the seat flipped upside down the pad came out of the seat and landed on the floor before Dustin did. He was laying on the pad face up under the seat just staring up at me content as could be. I still don't know how Kristi managed that feat.

Bouncing baby boy!
That is such a funny story... not funny at the time, I am sure, but funny 28 years later. :)
How funny that you stole Flashback Fridays! I didn't even get to do one last week... ha ha! Maybe I can get back on track this week and not have Evan post for me!
