Mail Call
Every year at work we send out letters to all the students with busing info. This year we mailed out over 20,000 letters. About 6,000 came back. Wrong address, moved, no apartment number and so on. This happens every years. So this year my friend Sue said, "why don't we send these back to the schools and make them get us correct addresses?" My boss loved the idea. So this week 4 people sort the envelopes by school. It took all week, but today they all went back to the schools with a letter explaining what we need. I would love to see the look on their faces when they get the mail on Monday. Last year they had our receptionist shred all the envelopes. This year while sorting through them we found 2 paychecks. Not the direct deposit statement, but actual paychecks. Several check made out to the district, and assorted other things that should not have been put in with the returned mailed. Wonder what was shredded last year
