I can't believe it is August already. What is even more unbelievable is that I actually posted everyday since I sent out the blog challenge. I know some days the blogs were short. Hey but I blogged.
Today was a busy day. It started out with a trip to discount tire. My front driver tire was separating so I had to get a new tire. While I was waiting I saw a lady with a quilting book. So of course I sat next to her. We had a very nice conversation. She told me about a sale at the Cutter's Edge Quilt store. She also told me that the 1st Saturday of each month they have open sewing from 6:00 PM to Mid-night. Might be fun, but way past my bedtime. Between talking to Ron on the phone and the quilt lady the wait time flew by.
When I got back from discount I went to Target with Ashley and Madie. My blow dryer died this week. Seems like I only get a year out of the curling dyer. So I bought the next model up. Hopefully it will last longer.
Then it was off to lunch with Joanne. Ron and Eddie are in Salt Lake this week at a race, so we decided to treat ourselves. We went to Cheesecake Factory. We share an appetizer and a piece of cheesecake. They have a new cheesecake not even on the menu yet. Pineapple up-side down cheesecake. It is two thin layers of pineapple up-side down cake with their original cheesecake in the middle. We both really liked it, but could not finish the piece. So we brought the left over home to Ashley. She wasn't thrilled with it, but she is not a big pineapple up-side cake fan.
This evening we went to Lori and Justin's for dinner and games. We played Apples to Apples. Zach won, but I told him they were pity points. He said he would take the win any way he could get it. The funniest part was the Veggie Tale movie Madie was watching. At one point we stop playing the game because we were all laughing to much at the movie. It was a fun evening. The only way it could have been better would be if Ron was there too. We have been married almost 31 years and I still miss my baby when he is gone.

Well that's a fun Saturday! We have apples to apples but we never have a big enough group to play (I love board games, lol). It is such a fun game!
