My calling at church is "Sister Friend" . Once a month in Primary I give a sharing time from the Friend magazine. This month the theme is Strengthening the Family. So I chose I can strengthen my family by keeping the sabbath day holy. So we played a memory game. I had pictures of 12 things you can do on Sunday to keep the Sabbath Day holy. 2 copies of each picture so that was 24 cards on the board. Then I came out wearing one of Ron's shirts on which I had pinned 12 big circles. I kind of looked like that big dog in the Dr Seuss book. Any way I told them I had a problem keeping the Sabbath Day holy and I was spotted by the things of the world. I needed them to help me find things I could do on the Sabbath Day. Every time they made a match they got to remove one of my worldly spots. They all seemed to have a good time. I was a little worried about senior primary. I thought the kids might think they were to old for the memory game, but I think they enjoyed it more than the younger kids. We got to talk to Nick this afternoon using the Internet. It was so cool to get to see him as we talked. I get see how good he looks. What his room looks like, and also his room mate taking a nap. It will be really nice when they are in Hawaii. We will get to talk to them and see them once a week. You have to love technology. It makes it easier to be away from family.
