quick blog
Most of the blogs this week will short. I was at work from 5 to 5 today and the phone rang from 6 to 4:30. Well the phone really rang until I left, but when Sue and I realized everyone else had gone home we quit answering the phone. Today was the first day the driver got to look at the routes for the 09-10 school year. I must not have been paying attention this morning when they installed the revolving door on my office. Lots of questions, not a good day for that. Then there was lunch. I was in the break room for 5 minutes to nuke my lunch. I kept telling drivers I was not on the clock. I guess they didn't care. Well maybe they are just all hard of hearing. On a bright note several schools have been asking for custom student busing lists. So every time I e-mail one out I always send a note "Here is the report you asked for. Payment came be made in the form of M & M's." So today another registrar from an elementary school stopped by with a bag of peanut M & M's. This is turning out to be quite the racket.

That is so great about the M and Ms! I love hearing about your job. It sounds stressful, but I like that you post one thing that was awesome that day.
You obviously make a difference in peoples' lives, and what is more important than making sure that students get to school? If they don't get there, no one has a job or gets an education! :)
Maybe since this school year is coming in like a lion it will go out like a lamb?
