Day 3 in Monterey
Thursday we were up and ready by 7:00 AM to go to the Presidio for Nick's graduation. It was in a small auditorium. 17 people graduated in Chinese 9 in Korean. Nick was in a quartet that sang the National Anthem. He was the only guy so his voice was easy to pick out. He did a great job with the bass line. Wednesday night Nick gave Dave, Ann, Ron and I all Air force yellow ribbon pins, which we all proudly wore to the graduation. The ceremony lasted 40 minutes. Afterwards it was pictures outside.
Doesn't he look good? Back at Nick and Lindsay's they discovered that the stinks had fleas. I think they got them at the vets or from the cat that wonders the neighborhood. So Lindsay and I went to Costco to get Frontline. You have probably seem the commercials. Boy does that stuff work great. They next morning when the combed the dogs every fleas was dead. Thursday night was Hawaiian night. Pork, Hawaiian potato chips, pasta salad and another fire in the back yard. Cliff brought the wii, so Ron and Nick played guitar hero until the middle of the night. I packed it in around 10:00. I know late night for me.
