SATURDAY

I love Saturdays. I slept in until 6:30. I know for most people that is not sleeping in. But when you get up at 4:00 every day 6:30 is really nice. Today I took Jenny shopping for new school clothes. Yes she starts school on Monday. Kristi and Katie went with us. We went to Ross and Target. We got several outfits and a pair of tennis shoes. Jenny has P.E. on her first day. After we got back to Kristi's Jenny and Katie modeled their new clothes. I took a picture with my phone. If I ever figure out how to down load the picture I'll post it. The rest of the day was real laid back. Ron and I went to Walmart and got mousse for my hair and junk food for Ron. Oh and I got some snack food to send to Nick.
Ron went to work on his car tonight and Ashley, Zach and Madie went to have dinner with some old friends. So I was home alone to night. I watched 2 movies. Vantage Point with Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox. Not a bad movie. It is about plot to assassinate the president. Then I watched Lakeview Terrace with Samuel L Jackson. He plays a prejudice cop that hates the interracial couple that moves in next door. He spends the rest of the movie terrorizing them. He gets away with for a long time because they don't feel like they can go to the cops because no one will believe them. Makes you wonder if some cops really get away with a lot because they are cops.
So I had a nice relaxing day off work. Just what I needed.

SIDE NOTE: I use to think the only person that ever read my blog was Lindsay. She is very good at leaving comments. Then Ron pointed out that I read every one's blogs and rarely comment. So I have made it a point to comment every time. I don't always have a lot to say. Just want you all to know I enjoy hearing about your life. Keep up the good work.
