Up next

I finished the log cabin quilt top. So now what? Now I am making a Christmas log cabin quilt. On a much smaller scale. So if the brown one is log cabin, the Christmas one is little house on the prairie.
The fabrics all have some gold metallic thread running through the prints. The light side will be all one fabric. It is cream with gold starts. The dark side is greens. I'm hoping it will look like a wreath when I'm finished. I guess I'll let you be the judge of that.

The color palette. The background is the light color.

Close Up of the Light. Now you can see the stars.

From right to left. The light, the red center and the 3 green fabrics. This will make up the block.

The 2 on the left are the borders. The red is the 1st border followed by the holly print.
So tonight I will be cutting strips of fabric. This one will go much faster than the other one. Heidi asked in a comment where I find the time. Well little sister, I only have one job, and my children are all grown up. You'll be there before you know it. It goes by so fast.
