Close but no Cigar

I started the quilt on Friday. I got all the strips cut. That was a lot of cutting. There were 7 colors and each color required more strips. Strips are 2 1/2 inches by the width of the fabric. I started sewing a little on Saturday. I'm using the Eleanor Burns quilt in a day method. I didn't have a lot of time of Saturday so I thought I would bust it out today. Well a quilt in a day could happen if I didn't go to the sale at Joanns Fabric store, or out to lunch with my Sweetheart. Maybe even if it was a smaller quilt. Anyway I got all the strips sewn accept the last dark. I think I can finish up the blocks tomorrow. If I do I'll try to get some pictures for the blog. Lets see what happens.
