I have been on summer break for 2 weeks. Boy has the time gone by fast. The first few days were spent getting Ashley, Zach and Madie a little more settled into our home. Last week I started a project for our Stakes "Summer of Service". The Stake has asked that each sister donate 1 hour of service on projects for the Humanitarian Center. I have been sewing School Bags, 20 of them. All the materials are available at the Humanitarian Center so you need to buy anything. Some of the fabrics are quite interesting. My guess is the fabrics have been donated. Anyway they remind me of the Mary Poppins "carpet bag". Now that that project is finished it is on to my Blog projects. Hope to have those done before I go back to work next Wednesday. Once they are done I'll post pictures.
I have been walking each morning during my break. This week Ashley and Madie have joined me. Madie enjoys it much more than her mother. But Madie would live outside if they let her.
Ron started on our closet addition. Saturday we cleaned out the side yard, and Ron started digging the footings. I wish I could be more help. But he doesn't want me digging. He is afraid I'll hurt myself. I need to get in touch with my burly man side.

Madie is a girl after my own heart! Lots of exciting changes in your corner of the world!
It is so great that Ron is extending the closet. I read on Ashley's that he is making a bigger sewing place as well...
And honestly, who DOESN'T need a bigger room for sewing?
P.S. The word for this comment is "unglyp". Doesn't that sound like some sort of monster disease or something?
..."I had the worst day. I took my pet monster to the doctor and found out he has unglyp".
Yup. Definitely a monster disease.
Thanks for the placemats! They are so ADORABLE. I am trying to convince Evan to let us use them year-round!
I am still trying to figure out what to make you for the blog craft... hmm... Someday I will be struck with inspiration! I just know it!
