Great Minds

They say "Great minds think alike". Last night I e-mailed Randi Sue a posting from Craigslist. It was a singer sewing machine in a cabinet just like my Grandma Haggard had. This morning she replied with "that is so funny, I almost emailed you the same thing. If I didn't have to pay ... to the IRS next month that cabinet would be MINE!!!!!" After hearing from Randi Sue I felt like I couldn't let a family heirloom go to a total stranger. So Ron and I went and brought it home this afternoon.

The lady said the machine runs great. I haven't tried it out yet. It even has the same bench. I don't know where I'll put it. But I'll figure that out later. I think of antiquing more as treasure hunting, and today I feel like I got a real gem.
