Great Weekend

Today is Heidi's birthday. If she reads this blog, Happy Birthday to you. I remember when my kids were little she would always send them birthday cards with candy inside. She is such a good Aunt and sister. For those of you with the same TV obsessions I have tonight is the season premiere of HOUSE and NCIS is next Tuesday.

Saturday we had Benjamin, Curtis and Abigail from 8:00 until about 1:00. Abigail can sure keep up with her brothers. She is going to be the supreme ruler in that house. We have a crow problem in our backyard. They like to steal the dog food. Worst part is they dunk it in the water at make it nasty. So Ron bought a pellet gun to do away with the birds. Saturday the grand kids got here earlier than we expected and Ron's pellet gun was on the hearth. He when to put it away and Benjamin wanted to know why Grandpa had a gun. Ron told him is was to shoot the birds. Benjamin said it is not nice to shoot the birds. So Ron explained about the birds and how the steal Pugsley's food. Benjamin's reply was "We shouldn't shoot the birds Grandpa, we should just forgive them." My guess is something he heard at home. Take the sentence replace shoot with hit and birds with Curtis.

Anyway we had a great weekend, But boy was I tired. There is a reason people have children when they are young.
