Blogging on borrowed time...

or at least on a borrowed laptop. Mine is still down. So Ron is letting me use the laptop that belongs in the race car trailer. So I'm good to go until the 23rd of March.

It has been a busy few weeks. January 19th was the 100th day of school. That means I have to get the odometer readings off of every bus. Then I have 10 days to compile all the info and send a report to the Arizona Department of Education. The report is only a little important. It's how we get funding from the state. Now throw in moving my baby girl and Justin to Sacramento. Talk about a whirl wind week-end. They are safely in their new home and Justin started his job at Intel this past Monday.

Sew what have I done in my off time. I finished the quilt top for little Obi-Wan. I'll get it quilted after I finish Jenny's birthday dress.

Wow, not sure that little boy will ever sleep. Not with these wild colors. The other thing I did was the February blocks for the BOM. I continued with the red, white and blue theme. I really like the "Balkan Puzzle". As for the other block, well I'm sure if I should call it "Chunky Chevron" or "Junky Chevron". I really don't like it.
Now I'm not sure if I don't like it because my red & white and blue & white fabrics lean more to the off white. Or is it because I just don't like the "Chunky Chevron" pattern. Well any way I'll probably make a different one before the month is over.
No more time for blogging. I still have a dress to make.

Wow! You amaze me with all that you are able to accomplish. Personally I like the Chucky Chevron pattern. Happy Sewing!!

The quilt top for Obi turned out great! Also great work on the quilt blocks. I still need to do those, they probably won't get done until tomorrow. It's been a crazy two days, and I haven't felt like sewing, but I'm feeling crafty again today, so they should be forthcoming soon!
