Break the Silence

I haven't posted in quite some time. Not much going on really. I was all prepared for a Saturday alone wallowing in self pity. It was not a great week at work. Ron is in Bakersfield after weeks of working on the car. So I was just feeling sorry for myself. Locked in my room watching mindless television when the door bell rang. A minute later Zach walks in with a package from Amazon. The book I order on Thursday was here.
Body of Secrets: Anatomy of the Ultra-Secret National Security AgencyThis book was recommended by a guy at work. I was hooked after the 1st chapter. So no more pity party. I have a hot date with James Bamford.

On a crazy note. Tomorrow the Maroney family is celebrating Ross' birthday. Ron's side of the family decided a couple of year ago to go with gag gifts for the adults. It takes all the pressure out of shopping. Everyone really enjoys the craziness of it. So what does a loving Aunt give to a nephew for his 31st birthday. Well she goes through old family pictures. Finds a special photo of him as a child. Goes to a yard sale to find a nice inexpensive frame. Them runs to work to print the photo, and voila`, you have a family heirloom. That's right a 28 X 35 inch framed family heirloom.

I hope he likes it!

Laughed out loud at the picture. You'll have to share the response at the party.

Next time you're having a pity party, invite me, we could have a great time.

Question, when you buy from Amazon do you ever buy more than one book just to get the free shipping?

Is there anyone in this family that doesn't suffer from depression? Personally I party 24/7.
