Saturday Fun

I started out my Saturday by meeting Randi Sue for breakfast. We met at Mimi's in Ahwatukee at 7:30. That's sleeping in for both of us. The food was good, but the company was great. After breakfast we slipped over to Joann's Fabric. It was just across the street. I bought fabric for a Christmas quilt I want to make for myself next year. All the fabric's were on sale. Plus I had a Joann's gift card, bonus.

When I got home Ron was mopping the floors. He cleaned the house for me. He is so sweet. I really appreciate all he did today.

A few weeks ago we celebrated Katie's 2nd birthday. I was no prepared so all she got was 2 outfits. So this afternoon Ron and I took Katie toy shopping. (Jenny came along too) We let her walk through the toy department of Target. Jenny kept pointing out toys to Katie. We did enjoy checking things out. When we walked down the doll isle I found a cute baby doll and pointed it out. Katie fell in love with the one next to it. She said "I want to buy it". Then she picked it up and headed for the basket. The doll came with a bottle and a couple of diapers. When she got home she changed that dolls diaper over and over. She was very pleased with her purchase.

We all had a good time.
